Best barbs for watercooling loop??

Cheers. Just what I was looking to get, but was going to get 1/2" tubing. Asked the question before about using these barbs with 7/16 tubing, and someone gave me a link to the barbs. Great help.

Is there any advantage in getting 7/16 over 1/2"?

use 1/2" tubing on 1/2" compression fittings. thats the whole point of them as they shouldnt leak so no need to use smaller tubing.

7/16 provide a much tighter fit. I had to heat the ends up in boiling water to get them on.

you wuss, i just rammed em on there (oww err)

But using hot water is a good way to help get them on the barb. But as the man says a MUCH tighter fit.

Was wondering whether 7/16" tubing is easier to bend and fit in a case than 1/2", or doesn't it matter much either way?
