Hello all,

Just started shifting through these, have about 400 or so :D - was an awesome weekend all in all, got plastered Friday night and stayed near the track, went to the track Saturday and got covered in all sorts trying to get some decent shots :D - here's the first I've done, I'll update the OP with more as I do them.

Hope you like!

Canon 350D
Canon 55-200 rubbish lens - shot at 200mm
1/400
f/5.6
ISO 100

C&C welcome, like I say, I'll be adding as I do them :)

Ok kokey...

Take all this with a pinch of salt because ive had a long day.

Firstly, Great capture... I like the lumps of mud in the foreground.

Crit wise... It seems a bit soft, the burger van isnt an ideal background... I know the vignette is deliberate but it isnt strong enough to look deliberate, the placement is dead central which doesn't help give the shot impact, maybe changing position would have help composition and to remove the burger can. :)

Much better composition. :) Id crop 50pixels more off the left to get rid of the women, or clone her out, she adds nothing to the picture.

A bit of colour popping i see...

Were the fences/mesh bright red? think it would look nicer with those coloured to sort of give the rider a path thru the b&w photo... if that makes sense.

Not entirely, but yes it was a similar look. Plus I'm not as good in PS as you so I wouldn't know how to anyway!!!! :p

Couldn't decide. B&W or Colour?
