we (united) have a few injuries but i'd hope we can put a couple past blackburn this evening. they always give us a tough game but i'm looking forward to seeing how tevez and berbatov work together along with Ronaldo improving in fitness. Rooney is most likely out which is a bit of a bummer as he takes a while to get a head of steam when coming back from injuries.

I know its not a prediction thread but United will lose away at Blackburn 2-0.

Berbatov just wont be up for mixing it up with the Blackburn defenders and i have a feeling Giggs will be picked to start due to his "experience" and not left on the bench for his lack of tackling, will to chase the ball or ability to pass to another united player.
So we will effectively start with 9 men.

Oh my, we can only hope eh? ;)

I hope to see a big game from Tevez today, after an excellent start to the season, he's been a little quiet his past few games.
I'd expect Park/fletcher/anderson/Ronaldo to make up the midfield, with wes coming in also :o

jobs that atpbx should never do: motivational speaker, samaritans.

I'll be traveling during the game so i'll have to make do with the radio, hopefully we won't make a meal out of it this season.

No Friedal so we should be ok.

I think I am going to have a bit of a rant.

You know what has really pee'd me off this week, Wenger and the whole Arsenal team. All I have heard is them moan moan, bleat bleat about the Hull Game. They are embarrassed , in shock bleat bleat. Players were supposed to be punished for such a result. Wenger even claimed he felt physically sick after the result.

Well in my book it stinks. It is arrogant beyond belief because all the comments coming out of the Arse had the tone of them expecting to have won that game just by turning up. Not once has anyone from Arsenal come out and said well played Hull. They came to play football and attack and came away with all three points. Arsenal have acted with little dignity or class in the wake of Hull's victory.

Wenger would've expected to win to be fair and what he said is no different to what Benitez, Ferguson, Mourinho and many other managers have said in the past.

The top teams expect to win against the bottom teams. If that doesn't happen excuses will always be made rather than praise given.

Ferguson always comes out and congratulates the team on a victory. He's very humble with other managers which is why he gets on with the vast majority of them.

I can't actually remember him being that ungracious in defeat so perhaps he was a bad example to use. I'll save him for when someone talks about managers blaming defeats on referees :p

I agree that you would expect a lot of the top teams to win against a team that has just come up but the whole aftermath stunk of absolute arrogance to me.

Gallas did

"They showed the character, they showed they can play football," Gallas said. "They were very strong and we were not strong enough, so we have to forget that game and think about the next game on Tuesday."
