802.11n - Slow Speeds

For some reason using 802.11n I can only connect at 65mb, although this is faster than 802.11g it was my understanding that I should be able to achieve speeds of up to 300mb. Am I missing something?

It was connected at 130mb a few days ago for a couple of seconds but went back down again.
