It is very naive to think that governments do not talk to terrorist, the British government did it for years secretly with PIRA.

This might be pointing out the obvious here but if his name is anything to go by then I don't think liberal/democrat is a realistic option for him.

Sarah Palin appears to be getting worse and worse, whether she is as daft as she appears or not the appearances and comments she is putting forth are beginning to unnerve me slightly. If those are the comments that her advisers have suggested then that is almost as worrying.

This situation is a little different though, Palin is saying Obama was associated with a 'terrorist' when he would have only been 2 to 14 years old at the time. It just smacks of fearmongering and desperation. McCain must hate being around this particular person right now.

She actually bases her foreign policy credentials on the fact that Alaska borders Canada and the proximity of Russia.

Not to mention she opposes abortion even in the extremes case of rape and incest.

My personal favourite is her belief that man and dinosaurs roamed the earth together as the world is only 6000 years old.
