Cleaning hob

Hi.

Well as title says really, need some help with cleaning the hob in my uni flat!
My flatmates are disgusting and won't clean the hob and now it is gross!
Basically I can no longer stand it and tried cleaning it with some Cif spray stuff and cleans the recent grub but it doesn't clean it to all white.
Here is what it looks like at the moment, please help =[ I don't like dirt =/

(The green on the photo is the Cif stuff)

Spray + very rough pad (like those sponge things with a tough side) + lots of elbow grease.

God those type of hobs are absolutely awful. I'd break it and get your (obviously) stingy landlord to buy a proper gas one.

Couldnt see anything on that link, just the home page for Sainsburys.

Maybe if you left the stuff on over night? ~Or at least 5 hours or so.

You need a really harsh oven cleaner (tht cif stuff is not bad enough). You want something which you spray and and advises to use rubber gloves with at all times.

Should do the trick.

Also, when wiping your own arse you may like to use some of that paper that's normally within reach on a little spindle.

LOL you need the stuff that requires rubber gloves and plenty of ventilation, the stuff that makes you go light headed the moment you spray it and then if you get any on your skin it melts it arrhghhhh.

Big-D oven cleaner I think its called?

pshhhh. thats nothing, just spray on copious amounts of "generic kitchen cleaner"

let it sit for a few hours and then go at it with a "green"

Hah, you in Cwrt Mawr by any chance? We had the exact same problem last year. In the end all that'd do it was a heavy-duty metal scrubber thing and really heavy scrubbing. Fun.
