I find this guy a bit of a moron, who has never, ever said anything funny on Mock the Week.

Does anyone else feel the same?

Even the bald cockney guy is funnier.

Where did he come from to get on TV ?

I don't mind him, but hes not really funny-funny either.

Its Frankie Boyle that winds me up on Mock of the week.

I agree.

I think hes been funny about 3 times. But other than that he just says something random, then ends up pulling a face with his bong eye to finish it off.

Its sometime awkward watching him because no one finds him funny

He's less assertive then say Frankie, but he's equally as funny when given a chance. The only thing that annoys me about Mock the Week is you can clearly tell that it's been scripted and rehearsed whereas something such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks feels more ad lib-ed from the other presenters.

Its supposedly not scripted. Its filmed for a few hours then they edit out the crap and keep the best bits.

Give me 8 out of 10 cats any day

It isn't though.
You might feel that way because they cut all the rubbish out to put only the funniest bits in the show. If you ever get the chance to see it live you will change your mind :)

Am I not allowed to say I dont like Russell howard?

Personally I think the stuff he comes out with is surreal rubbish.

Frankie Boyle for the win. Has Frankster done any other stuff like Live at the Apollo or something ?

I think he's great. Clearly more into observational humour than the others, which is generally more interesting than the simple 'knob' gags.

Frankie is also good, though he simply goes for the shocks.

Hugh Dennis is OK, but he's the most dated and predictable of the lot...

It's just the way they look at each other like "That's your cue by the way." and they all obviously know the answers.

At the very least you can see that they've all been given the answers and they've made their own small routines around them. Just because you get to sit in live doesn't mean that they haven't rehearsed it beforehand.

Hugh Dennis seems to be variable. Some of his gags are real quality, some a bit tired. Im sure Ive seen him on TV before, looks really familiar.

Can't remember his name, but I rate the guy who's not a regular cast member the best. Always laughing and telling weird stories. He's a bit posh.

None of them are really that funny. The whole show is a bit shallow and they're all trying too hard.

Frankie gets a laugh every now and then.
