I love it when winter is coming and games start getting chucked out by the barrel!

Bring on Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2!! Not read anything about Dead Space, will check it out.

I wonder what kind of graphics card is required to play it on highest settings at 1900 x 1200.

The reverse is true. The PC will be the best platform for it (same as LEGO Indy on the PC was much better than the consoles). 360 & PS3 versions both have severe screen tearing due to no vsync and 360 also has bad FPS (PS3 is slightly better but not by much). It came out 23rd Sept in the US. PC will have better textures, AA support & zero loading times so it will be well worth getting especially as its under £20.

Out this friday as well so if you preorder with that well known high st shop should get it Wednesday/Thursday this week

It's based on the same engine they used for Oblivion, so probably anything above a 8800GT should cope well with it. Also notice that it's coming out for consoles, hence it shouldn't be too demanding (in theory anyway).

I can't wait for the new Silent Hill myself, just dying to take another vacation down there.

The only games in that list that look good IMO are Fallout 3 and FarCry 2. Otherwise tbh october is bad for pc games.

The Lego Star Wars' games were superior on PC. Proper HD!

Played through them both with a mate, co-op. (using dualshock2's though)
