been thinking of working on weekends to earn some extra money but can't think of many ideas so hoping maybe you guys could suggest something that fits perfectly what i'm after.

basically wanting something really easy/unskilled that is low stress job and gives the chance of many hours work that are preferably slightly later then 9-5 but whenever is fine as just looking to earn extra money so even up for nights.

only thing i can think of is a supermarket but not really keen on the idea of dealing with customers and then shelf staking over night is an idea but prefer to see if there is anything better i could do.

Don't know if it's easy but what about bar work?

mcdonalds/burger king and acctually a good job imo.

both i would say are far too much stress in that i'd be massively rushed all the time.

i'm not set against doing jobs that are rushing around doing stuff, but it would have to be worth it and it wont be for macdonalds.

You won't find ANY job that doesn't have targets to meet with pushy managers. Even when you're a manager you get higher managers pushing you to push your staff. I guess being self employed is the only option, then you just push yourself around.

Litter picking for the council? No exactly good for your street cred but easy money, just pop in your mp3 player and make the world a cleaner place. :p

My GF just got a job in a library putting books back, dont think it's possible to get stressed in a library and if it is you just have to bottle up all that anger or you get sssssshhh'd at

Petrol Station - nightshift you do nothing. Or the guy at my local doesn't. Infact you will be lucky if he serves you.

what about cleaning? though late night weekend hours may be a problem

I used to do a cleanin job a few years ago and it was a pretty good earner tbh lol just worked for a couple of hours a night, once I'd shadowed/worked with someone for a week i was given an area of my own to clean and left to it. pretty easy to do, get some music on and the time fly's by

currently do that in the week and have asked the companies i have worked for about weekend work but they never have any permanent.

one idea of mine was like a night watch man, where i could just sit and "guard" a building over weekend/night or something like that. does this require any qualifications?

also petrol station is a good idea may look into this.

just thought i'd say i'm 20 not that it should make a difference but at least you know

Deffinately avoid the supermarkets, what a thrash that was for me!

Face to face customer service work in the day, self replenishment in the evening. Targets to meet, pushy customers demanding more... A corner shop or a garage would be a much better idea imo. My sister did a couple of hours a day cleaning while she was at uni, seemed pretty decent cash for the work too...

NEVER, under any circumstances, take a job in a call centre.

2 months in and I feel sick every morning at the thought of working there and the flexible shift patterns I have to work doesn't help.

Did my work experience in one, as i broke my arm at the last minute and couldnt work in the a bike shop like i wanted to.

It was horrible.

Factory work or bar work seem to be the closest fit.

Call centre work is the easiest work there is. Sit on your ass answering the phone all day. Don't even have to think.

Security guard. Out of hours, ours just sit around watching TV all day, personally I'd bring a book in as we only have the 5 terrestrial channels. They bored out of their brains thought - I came in to do some overtime one weekend to find one of them razzing the company minibus round the car park :p

It's not like there are the physical requirements you'd expect for the job either. Of the five different guards I've seen working out of hours, two are morbidly obese and one appears to be an octogenarian. He once fell over while walking up the stairs to unlock the office :(
