Missed out on DR colourchip group buy, anything else?

As the title says, I missed out on the Dr colourchip group buy.

Is there anything else similar on the market to get rid of stonechips?

I would seriously doubt anyone will be willing to participate in another group buy after the previous one - and I seriously doubt the powers that be here will allow another one.

I would be interested in a group buy, however the numbers would have to be limited. I think one of the problems for ScoobyDoo69 was that he had too many orders over 2 forums to sort out.

If the numbers were more like 20 absolute max then it'd be a lot easier.

I think the problem there was that he ripped a few members off too, as far as i know, then took a cut from the postage to pay for his time, without asking anyone.

i thought it was clear he didn't rip anyone off, not got a clue what happened but as fox was thinking of going to the small claims court and the next minute forgiving him he must have had good reasons

I am a member over at the "Briskoda" forums.
They are just in the process of running another Group Buy on Dr. Colourchip.

The guy running the GB has the nickname Tom_VRS and I can say he is extremely trustworthy - anyone on the forums will confirm this.

It's a GB on the Roadrash kit and you'd get it for £42 delivered.

Why bother with a group buy? Just buy it direct from the guy in the states. You might pay a few quid more but the lack of hassle makes it worthwhile.

briskoda one looks around 30% cheaper, most groupbuys only take a little while longer than ordering yourself.

A couple of months delay is not the usual.

How often does it have to happen to be 'usual'?

That it has happened at all would be enough to put me off. We're not talking hundreds of pounds here. I'd rather buy direct and receive it myself.
