easy, stressless, low paid, weekend work

also petrol station is a good idea may look into this.

Some petrol stations are busy throughout all hours of the day, so you may want to pick one that's a little bit out of the way. For example a supermarket petrol station is likely to have you rushed off your feet.

If I was looking for weekend work I'd be thinking about one of the major high street retailers of electronic or PC-related goods. You'll have busy periods of course, but since it's a semi-sales environment (I say semi-sales because customers often know what they want anyway) you'll have the opportunity of not approaching people and just trundle along at the lower end of your targets.

both i would say are far too much stress in that i'd be massively rushed all the time.

i'm not set against doing jobs that are rushing around doing stuff, but it would have to be worth it and it wont be for macdonalds.

Afternoon bar work in the right pub could be great. Some where in town like wetherspoons would be hideous though. Get your self to a nice local and have a cushy Saturday/Sunday afternoon chatting to the regulars, watching the football.

Factory work or bar work seem to be the closest fit.

Call centre work is the easiest work there is. Sit on your ass answering the phone all day. Don't even have to think.

It might be easy, but you'll end up either wanting to hurt yourself or hurt someone else. I will NEVER work in a major call centre ever again.

Nor will I, but I served my time in one to get where I wanted to be and it wasn't at all difficult.

LOL :p Have you ever worked for an electrical retailer? It's about as 'full-sales' as a retail job gets. Pressure, Pressure, Pressure. Customers may occasionally know what they want (like 20% of the time) but even when you do help them decide on a product, you have to close the sale, then comes extended warranties, accessories, store credit deals. If you want no stress I suggest not doing this. The money is good for retail if you succeed but I did it for nearly 6 years. Thats about 5.5 years too long in my book! :D

Supermarket work is easy, busy at weekends (so want part timers) and what customers? If your on the tills you may have to repeat the same few words hundreds of times a day but it isn't really a problem.

If your not on the tills you may get asked where the cream crackers are once or twice a day.

Supermarket work is really not stress free, customer tends to be rude and you are being regulated to work to the minute..

I think someone asked the same question a few months back, I still think delivery driver at your local takeaway could be a good option....

our factory manager delivers chinese for two places 5 nights a week

he takes home free food and a nice round [largley tax free] £180 a week [and his petrol is paid for on their fuel card!]

he pretty much lives off the money form that
so his main job wages are all savings - not bad i think
just wouldnt want the wear on my car [but he uses his daughters smart car so its economical]

Supermarket and bar work are not stressful. Most relaxing job I ever had was cleaning in a mental hospital (cleaners aren't allowed to touch bodily fluids of any kind, so anything other than hoovering, dusting and washing up is left to the nurses).

If all you want to do is sit about then look into becoming a security guard or working for the Financial Services Authority.

Agreed! If you ever get sacked from a call centre job for not being able to fulfill your role requirements you need shooting. :p

If you get sacked for any other reason thats totally acceptable. :D

Blockbuster - soooo simple. Stress free. You get to put on any films you want to watch, and just sit there all day.

Garden Centre - move plants to peoples cars, most customers are liekly to be pleasnt all quite simple.

Library -couldn't think of anything easier of less stressful apparently quite well paid.

I worked 5 years in one and didn't find the customers to be rude - you get what you give though I guess :)

As for being regulated to the minute - on tills yes, but I never got put on one. You can't really begrudge them for that as someone going to the toilet for a few minutes could end up in massive queues quite easily.

Bar work = girls.

Aslong as you're not a hideous mess and can chat to women then they are perks to serving a crappy pint to the odd ******.
