I'm stuck on the first boss in Anniversary!

I've got the general idea of how to kill it.

I'm playing with an Xbox360 controller and haven't been able to figure out how to enable adrenaline mode when the boss is running towards you.

When the tips were still coming up it said press shift, but I'm not sure of the equivalent on the controller :S

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Craig.

I believe its crouch/roll

When the screen goes blurred, press left/right/back (only sometimes forward) and crouch/roll and it just activate the adrenaline dodge, then just time the shot.

I have to say I was stuk on this for a fair bit.

I was using the keys and couldn't get the T-Rex on those spikes!

My son had a go, and couldn't do it either. So he tried the XBox controller instead. He said it was easier to get around and in no time, T-Rex was defeated. He couldn't remember how he done it or he just wouldn't say!

I have to say, this is wiothout a doubt, the toughest boss I've come accross - Apart from the Wife!!

If I remember the manual is a bit misleading when trying to explain how to do it. I struggled with it wondering what I was doing wrong but I think a search gave a better description on how to do it.
Once you figure the correct way though it's pretty easy to do constantly.

Ooh, I'm just playing this now. When you get the "flare" around the creature baddies' head, it will start to charge you. As it gets closer and in range, the screen will blur. I think you have to press B and then a direction on the analogue stick. Lara will jump in the direction you specified and two crosshairs will come in from either side of the screen. When they meet in the middle, press the Right Trigger to fire and the baddie should then be killed.

From what I've seen, you have to go for the head as T-Rex runs at you.. Whilst fully raged, you press something.. but I still can't fathom out what..Grrr

I played this again recently. It's very annoying but you will get the hang of it.

When the creature rages and starts to run, hit LOCK then run left or right and roll. Shoot when the crosshairs merge.

Isn't that the boss you have to wait for timing?

Basically a O comes accross the screen and you time the button? Or something like that, been ages since I done it... I cleared it first time though I think... wasn't to bad at all.

I've tried loads of times to get into the Tomb Raider's but find them boring. Honestly what's the attraction of them? Apart from watching her behind of course

For me it's the spectacular rooms and jumping around on high ledges and columns knowing that at any time Lara can plummet to her death. Sweaty hand time. It's the same with the Prince of Persia.

Yeah I quite enjoyed Prince of Persia but it was always fairly obvious where to go in that where I constantly get 'stuck' in tomb raider games. Just seem to spend more time jumping around then shooting stuff.

LOL. I find it the opposite. Prince of Persia Warrior Within was just horrendous for getting lost. There was too much backtracking in that game.

The environments, more than anything. Even on second playthrough of TRA, coming into a new area when a massive shrine or temple opens out in front of you - and having to then scale it - is breathtaking.

Also, it's the sense of isolation. It's just you in these massive, empty tombs belonging to lost civilisations: it can be very atmospheric.

It's easy, you do that adrenaline mode by doing a diving roll when it says, then you wait for those two white circles to match up and turn red, then you shoot, then the t-rex like falls over and you have to get him to fall into those spikes.

Job done
