S.T.A.L.K.E.R Clear Sky - Gone Gold

Please tell me there's supplies somewhere near after meeting Forrester, exhausted pretty much everything since that scientist and I sure as heck ain't gonna get very far on pistol rounds!

crashes big time with me , claiming my card doesn't meet p.s 1.1 , this happens occasionally when i go back to main menu from dying by pressing space.

i have a 2900xt with latest drivers

I am currently at the point where I am fighting a cool battle in the old hospital, but I have not seen a trader for a long time and my armour is shot, will there be a trader soon?

Thinking of getting this, but ive heard it has some nasty DRM (Online activation, 5 limit install and needs the cd in the drive too). I cant find much on it, is it just the Steam version that has a 5 machine limit, or is it for everything ?

There is no online activation, you do need the CD in but that's pretty normal. With the latest patch it is playable and quite fun but is nowhere near the level of SoC.

That's it, I give up.There are too many bugs with mission scripting. I am going to sell it on Amazon. I just wish there were more new decent shooters other than Warhead which I have finished.

Ive just switch over to play this on XP 64 and it said i needed to activate it again, so i tried and it says i have reached my activation limit, so i guess my only choice now is to go hunt for a crack

Blood ridiculous, another good reason to pirate this game :(

Oh and when the new patch game out (steam version), i was able to continue with my old saves but the fact i cant play this anymore doesnt help.

Most annoyingly i have no idea if im even able to activate this again or who i am supposed to go to get it reactivated :(

i'd suggest going back and gather a lot of money and sort out your armour, weapons, getting them all upgarded and stock up on LOTS of ammo before going any further with the storyline.

Ouch, im staying clear of this then, thats pretty extreme DRM.

ok guys.. I am kinda stuck... how do you open the door at the scientist's bunker???

I had the same issue. You have to simulate another zombie attack by shooting the nearby friendly stalkers. You will have to kill them all but the door should open after that.
They clearly did 0 testing on this game.

I had to give up playing this recently. Decided to start the faction wars to give me a bit of a rest from questing and ended up joining Freedom. Managed to push duty back out of the garbage but its stupid how defenseless my soldiers are in comparison to duty's.

When they finally arrive at a position they are slaughtered in minutes and even when I help them win a fight, I look just down the road and I can see another sqaud of soldiers coming to decimate me. There just doesn't seem to be any reward to doing this. Thing is, if I leave the area i'm going to get loads of failed task messages because the soldiers are too stupid to fight the enemy.

Has anyone actually seen the G36 (GP37?) in this game? I've nearly completed the game for the second time and I haven't seen hide nor hair of one.

It's very annoying when games "reserve" the best weapons until the last 5 minutes of the game, too. Anyone who has completed it will know what I mean. :(

I went back to the scientist's lab and bought all 700 rounds of IL35 ammo - that totally skinted me!

The weapon itself has a few upgrades from a Duty mechanic, but I simply can't afford anything else. The traders are so stingy when buying my stuff its not worth running around to collect weapons, and artefacts are mad rare.

I've plodded on some more, but having played the first game I'm well aware that I'll be in big trouble near the end due to poor kit / lack of ammo.

The guides are better than nothing, but it's still crazy travelling to get back to a proper base even if I had cash to spend.

Who'd be a Stalker eh!

God im so ****** off

I feel conned, this is the second game i have bought with this ****** activation limit and after Atari took a month to get back to with help on getting Test Unlimited working i vowed to buy a game from them again.

So i bought Clear Sky through Steam and now the only way i can play the game is by using a crack! Thank god the hackers are up to speed with this game so i was able to find a 1.5.0.5 crack!

This is not on, i bought this game and it should be my property and i should have complete control over MY GAME! What is the point in controlling how many times users can install THEIR game?!

Its an excellent way of forcing people to downloading pirate copies in the future

ok instaled + the latest patch and it's just constantly crashing :(

Also the head bob makes it seem like he's drunk a fifth of jack before heading into the zone ;/
