Preordered mine already, apparently the place i ordered it from i should get it a day or so before release too hopefully :D.

if anyone is buying it off steam because they think its quicker, well maybe not. its also better to have the physical copy of the game and even if you lose the dvd you could just redownload it off your account.

Even though it looks pretty similar to Zombie Survival on GM i am still looking forward to this game.

There is also one thing i dont get, they always talk about co-op in the videos yet when i read info about it they say there are 4 movies (big open maps) and nothing about the info on some pages stating there are 20 maps aswell. But if this is only a co-op game why are there 20 normal maps? there must be standard MP in the game too?.

I thought i should mention they should have beefed up the textures a bit too, the floors in outdoor invironments dont look great, same as in HL2 kinda sloppy imo, same with some objects like fences and other props recycled from hl2.. i guess the consolation is that its guaranteed to run well.

Don't see the point in ordering it this early, but I'll be getting a physical copy anyway since Steam won't accept my credit card.

BTW, you will need to install Steam and register the key to the account to play it.

Whoa, just checked the price, that is way too expensive for what is basically a mod.

I'd like to, but my Uni blocks steam. So unless i can play online without using steam, i won't bother :(

even if you got it before the release date you wouldnt be able to play it.

I had hl2 an entire week and a half before it was out and I couldnt play it because it needed activating on steam.

L4D will be the same.

There is no way I'm paying £25-£30 so they can cash in on the popularity of the zombie server mod thing. The game itself also looks kind of poor considering they have been working on it since the last ice age.

Its lucky you didnt buy quake 4, prey or ET:QW, and definitely dont get the new wolfenstein game coming out as theyre all basically just mods of doom3.

Won't be pre-ordering it, but I'll be buying it the day it's available on Steam :)

I thought iBot had left the PC Gaming forum for good, it's been a nice, quiet while :(

I rarely preorder stuff, but looking at the price for it from where I usually get my games, this is coming in at £27, I may let it lie for a little while before I buy this.

I've liked the look of it since I saw the first videos, but do agree that it could get repetitive. I'll more than likely get it but if it's gonna be £30 I'll think again.

they never said you'd be able to... what's the problem?

pre-load means you can play it as soon as it gets realeased, instead of having to wait for it to download

quite a simple concept :)

Why do people bother pre-ordering stuff? :confused:Even if you get it a day early could you really not wait another 24 hours? You will also have been waiting to play it for so long when it arrives unless it is an outstanding game, which is very rare nowadays you will invariably be disappointed that it doesnt live up to the hype surrounding its launch.

I wouldn't charge £30 for TF2 by itself or CS:S by itself. Unless it has a 10 hour dynamic story-driven singleplayer as well as the MP, it aint worth that price.
