"Its fun game though"

That there is precisely why I *am* going to continue with the game. Because at the end of the day, its fun. (at least for me). Thats all I look for in a game, it to be fun. If a game is fun for me, thats enough for me to play it.

Same feeling here, I have fun playing it. I do understand where others are coming from though saying that they are not going beyond the 30 days. Some like it, some do not.

Take my bro for example, he got an iron breaker to 16 last weekend, and decided on the Monday not to play it again. Was he having fun, probably, did he realise his whole weekend got sucked up into a game ? Probably :)

Also, as far as I have seen, it has been the smoothest roll out of any mmorpg to date. Yep there are some bugs, some more serious than others, take my tome for instance. The war story is just totally hosed, overprinting, maps attached to the top of the screen. Hopefully they'll get squashed sooner rather than later.

I'm level 13 now, my xp has slowed down quite a lot and i'm not paying a lot of attention to it, i'm more into completing WAR stories and PQ's. Scenario's are fun for me too, i have a record of always finishing top healer in the T2 scenario's, at the very least for Order players. Glad i chose a healer, feel very useful for once, as i've always played hybrids (Paladin, monk, etc).

Trying to be more efficient now and less gung-ho. Last night got 10k xp because i healed about 83k points and did quite a bit of damage too. Next healers in scoreboard are usually half that, so i'm enjoying the class.

Got a guild last night too, and were very helpful straight away, giving me stuff for crafting. Apothrecacy (sp?) is ok, trying to level it up and see how useful it can be; i'm thinking good HoT spells with large amount of Resotration Pot's will make me a force.

One problem is with PQ's/PvE is this: The game is hard-coded it seems to make mob's go for the healer straight away, without my intervention - i.e. i can stand there and do nothing, whilst 5 IB's attack a mob, it will still come to me and kill me, making Hero mob fights impossible after days of trying (See Dwarf Chapter 5 PQ's, 2 shot kills on 3rd stage).

Anyway, enjoying the game, think some PvE issues to sort and crafting made more expansive,a few CTD's, but other than that; great release and people with memories will know that the other big MMO's, including the biggest, didn't have a release of this quality.

Haven't really seen that with my warrior priest - the agro debuff actually seems pretty effective. It doesn't take much for the mob to turn on me though, but it seems to get pulled off again just as quickly. Mind you, I haven't come across any 2 shot kill hero bosses yet, level 13.

Edit - except for one Lord boss, which a full group of us stood around afraid to engage :D

This is in Dwarf chapter 5, north fo Marshes of Madness, think one is called "Foul XXXX" the other "Durak Mines" or something. The Durak mines one, the troll hero bosses at the end, you'd need a couple of groups to kill them i think, but they have an AoE that hits you for about 75% of your health.

My problem is the Ironbreakers cannot keep aggro and my aggro debuff (even though i get aggro without clicking a thing) is a single target one that simply reduces mob attack strength by 50% to me, doesn't reduce the aggro from what i can see.

It's very annoying, but seems to be just in chapter 5 so far.

As an IB (11 atm) myself I've noticed that I lose agro quite quickly if there's a healer around, but I can easily get it back through one the actions....

Not had this issue. Usually have to wait until the IBs have fully got agro as healing generates a lot of hate towards the healer (especially the 3 sec cast ubber heals). If a tank starts hitting the mob, healing within the first 4-5 seconds can usually be enough to draw the mov to the healer. Usually use HoTs until they have enough hate to hold agro.

It's mainly with champion/hero mobs that it occurs for me, but i seem to generate mega hate before i activate any spell at all. I use HoT's 75% of the time anyway, i use the small 82 hp heal with extar HoT, and the lower level HoT usually together, the other heals as backup. I'll try experimenting, but 5-10 seconds without my help is often enough for other members to die, so it's tricky.

As for Bright Wizards...Pain..in...the...ass. They lose health FAST, purely by standing bloody still! They are like pensioners: If you don't put a blanket and hot water bottle on them, they get flu! lol.

Yeah, I know that feeling. I was the lone Rune Priest in a group of 5 Bright wizards in Tor Anroc this morning. Oh my.

*See's an all Bright Wizard group*
*logs off for 15 mins and makes sandwich*

'Sorry guys, went DC, how did you do?'

...'Oh i see, well good luck for next time..."

Speaking as a destruction player, few things terrify me as much as a group of Bright Wizards, their focus fire can drop me, and most of my team in about 5 seconds :D

When I play my Bright wizard the other team should have nothing to worry about, I never seem to get healed, ever. Oh, and I usually blow myself up before killing anyone else :p

Gahh!! Nearly lvl 20 and I have hit a bit of a wall in this game.

Its nice that it caters for the casual user but at times it feels disjointed. I take it most of you guys/gals are doing quests from all available areas (all 3 'race' zones), as I am now getting quests to kill mobs 3 lvls+ to me.

The odd bit of xp I m getting from Scenarios takes ages as the queue times are so high. Im sure it will only be a minor brick wall :)

I'm doing quests for all 3 racial areas, as well as maxxing out my PQ influence for the rewards in each chapter. Alongside that I also am permanently queued for scenarios, luckily on my server a scenario starts about every 5 mins, and winning those usually nets me between 6k and 9k xp per scenario. Currently my main is lvl 26

That's what I've found I've had to do as well. Once I finished the Chaos T2 zone I found Talabecland mobs too annoying for my character's level at the time so I went to the Dark Elf T2 zone. I've ended up doing most of the Avelorn quests down to the flight master and moved back to Telebecland.

I've only done up to chapter 11 DE though due to the level requirements of chapter 12 gear so I'll finish them once I finish Talabecland.

Unforunately Makaisson server seems to be quiet for Order since I've not had a scenario in T3 all week and hardly any RvR going on. I think most players have decided to level a few alts to try their favourite class as T1 was very busy. I just hope the +20% experience bonus in the latest patch will help solve the problem.

Well I had a High Elf (White Lion?) and got her to level 10 but found it all a bit slow so I changed to a Bright Wizard. Have to say Im finding it much more fun.

Yesterday I spent the evening with a small party fending off a Destruction group from an area where we all needed to go to get some quests completed. Can't wait to get home and crack on with it.

Something I love about this game (and something many people complaining seem to miss) is that different classes play radically different. Changing class can almost be like playing a new game. Those who aren't having fun should test some of the other classes out, especially those they tend to usually ignore (tanks, healers etc).

Playing on Karak Hirn as Zygorian, currently a 22 Rune Priest. I absolutely love this game, been looking for a decent pvp game like this since daoc, Guild Wars was pretty good but lacked the real world RvR stuff.
