Basically I had some rimless glasses frames and they've broken. I want to get some new frames which are really flexible but remaining fairly elegant/nice looking.

Any recommendations?

I dont think other people can really "spec you glasses" its more of a personal choice. Have you tried going to an opticians and having a look :)

Come into Optical Express. Brilliant people and great offers, I also work there :)

Take an eye test, worth £15 and buy designer frames and lenses costing at least £100, they'll refund you the £15 and chuck you another pair absolutely free from the special collection. Should you not like anything from the special collection, they'll contribute £50 toward the cost of a second designer pair and give you the basic lenses (CL CR39s) for free. :)

Ignore the far side, the light through the lens makes it thicker than it looks, on the near side gives a better idea, and no, its not heavy at all.

You want to avoid rimless frames if you're on a budget. You can't stick any lenses in there. You need polycarbonate lenses to have the strength for the specs, it will be subject to stresses and strains. These lenses come up to about £140 depending on your perscription. And they don't come with hardcoat or antiglare coatings as standard!
If you were however to get a semi rimless frame then you can use the popular Oracle MAR 1.5 lenses which are a lot cheaper and more durable. :)

The man has a point, mine is 1.7 index, with all the coating.
