Hole in the wall, said "we cannot contact your bank", gave no money out, but charged.

tried to take out £50 last night from a cash point, returned the card saying "we cannot contact your bank" but upon checking this morning, my account is down £50 and says from that cashpoint


do i call my bank, or the bank who's 'hole' it was..?

i had that once, called my bank and they said its rectified itself and there is the pending credit for it (£20)

ring up your bank and speak to them
 
I'd wait a few days; this usually ends up getting dealt with as a debit and then a cancellation - the two can take differing times to register.
 
ask on a forum....

oh wait you have done that :p

ring your own bank, they should sort it for you tell you who you need to phone
