Since Sunderland aren't playing this weekend and I can't stand spending Saturdays poncing round the shops with our lass. Me and a couple of the boys have decided to go watch the mighty Whitley Bay attempt to slay those giants of non league football Nantwich Town

Anybody else attending any of the games? Gotta be more entertaining than Engalnd v Kazahkstan surely???

Won't be attending any, but I'd imagine that Havant and Waterlooville will get a few more people this season after their cracking run last year.

I wouldn't be surprised if they went out very early on this year though.

Are we expecting MoTD to cover any of these games? Or show highlights of any of them?

I'll be supporting Frome, as they knocked my local side out. Haven't got to the FA Cup since 1972 where we lost to Portsmouth 3-1 :p

Edit - that's a lie, was '82, and we lost 2-1 at home to Barking. lol

Surely with the money they made from last years cup run they will now have better players which would enable them to have another cup run?

Don't think MoTD get involved at this stage....in fact don't ITV have the rights to the FA Cup?

The chairman is a nob, the chief exec is a nob, and they didn't play me when I was in their youth team :p

I'm fairly sure one of the newsreaders was bragging about it on the North East news last night

I suppose it could be okay on ITV, the adverts are annoying at half time though... It'll be worse if they have David Pleat commentating.

My personal David Pleat-O-Rama...

David Pleat: "Good Evening Everybody...

And it's Benanoon on the wing, Chimp-bomba intercepts and passes it to Ashley Keole who lays it off for Joe Cole, Didja Dogbuh skips past Jose Buttswinger and shoots but it hits the bar...

Sergio Ramosh did enough to put him off... he's a fantastic centre back for Real Majrid you know... so composed... he's litterally that brilliant he must be Real Majrudrid's Centre Back he's so cultivated... Ramosh is great.

Clive Tildsley: "Yeah well Ramos has been Real Madrid's RIGHT back for about 2 or 3 years now..."

David Pleat: "Hmm... Oh is that Teddy Sheddingham in the stands?"

Clive Tildsley: *face-palm*

David Pleat: "Jamie Redknapp just beat his man there, great work from him..."

Clive Tildsley: "You mean Frank Lampard, he did well there yes..."

David Pleat: "I was boss of Tottenham you know..."

Clive Tildsley: "I know... I just can't believe how your half time team talks would have gone... how did the players know how you were on about?"

What a spanner...
