First two games very underated, this 3rd one great so far

Maps are good, gameplay involving, atmospheric and the controls are sublime

Don't understand the slating of the visuals, lack of AA isn't a problem in THIS game scenario, find the game looks even better with brightness and colours turned down so it looks more gloomy and washed out, that takes 15 secs and is free lol

As for being a console port, who cares, its one of the better ones and doesn't distract from the game itself

Think there are those that simply 'don't get' the BIA games tbh

Im loving it so far. I couldnt get a screen shot in time but ive just thrown a hand granade into a bunch of 4 guys and everything exploded, you saw arms, legs coming off, blood everythere, very realistic.
Awesome game and great graphics.

It feels really forced the way it switches between group fights, and indoor solo bits. It's like "Oh hey yup, just wandering along with my guys, gonna go check out this hospital WHOAH a piece of rubble has conveniently separated us, best carry on by myself and make no effort to re-establish contact, I'm sure I'll mysteriously catch up with them afterwards!"

OK managed to get AA working with an ATi card,=:

1=Rename .exe to UT3.exe

2=Set Catalyst AI to High

3=Enable AA in CCC

lol lets all jump on the brothers in arms knocking bandwagon, all the criticisms could be applied to 95%+ of fps games out there, even the fantastic COD4 is prob more scripted than any of the BIA games

Theres always the opportunity to spend an evening playing with fraps and 3dmark

The cut scenes really are great i think, the story starts to come together and the cut scenes add a lot of immersion. Especially towards the end of the game, pretty gripping stuff

Played it for a good few hours yesturday, now to find its lost all of my save games it made throughout.

Have had this with other games when it isnt installed on the C: drive.

I was not far after you replay the first mission inside the hospital if i remember correctly.

Been trying to find this for sale since 26th Sept - just found an online place for it, but I wanna trade some Wii games in to get it, was hoping to support my local games shop.

Sadly, if it isnt in today i'll trade the Wii stuff for cash and buy it online - I enjoyed the first 2, so wanna play this, slightly OTT dismemberment but looks good for a laugh!

theres nothing wrong with over the top dismemberment..the only shame is you cannot inflict further damage once they are dead..I never tired of slashing a corpse to bits with a knife in sof2 !!

I may have posted on this forum that I was not going to get the game due to the length, but I just bought it anyway while I was at the supermarket. I loved the other games so it can't be bad if it's same old. It is very much a series that you either love or hate and those that compare it to COD4 just don't get this type of game.

Its IMO the worst BIA game ever (loved the others) and its aimed at consoles from the weird looking graphics with no AA to the default controls.

I will still complete it for the sake of it though.

whats the complaints with the controls..its on the pc..you can map any key you want?

wsad to move, c to crouch..its the same as just about any other shooter

I set my mouse thumb button to go into cover..middle mouse button is toggle iron sights/zoom

I know that, but it still feels weird, I will complete it as is and put it down as a bad console port and wont be classing it as good as other BIA's.

Space to run, shift to change weapon when mouse wheel does it.

Well I've just brought it in some mad rush. Haven't played any of the other but am quite into the whole tactical team shooter....thing (GRAW and Rainbow Six) and have also just found the original, so started playing that. Have kept HH in the wrap for now just in case the reviews get worst...

Oh come on. It's a good game, and I am enjoying it, but don't try to pretend it hasn't got a load of little bugs and oddities to it.

Would someone who's gotten quite far into the game please upload their "BIA Hells Highway" folder, located in My Documents > My Games.

I can then choose the chapter where i last left off before it deleted my save's.

Why the hell does everyone knock the graphics in this game? It looks damn good if you ask me. Much better than COD 4 in my opinion. In fact its defniately one of the best looking games out (apart from crysis of course..streaks ahead).

I bought it today and have been playing it on my parents PC as i am home from uni for a few days. It has a A64 3400+,1gb ram and a 6800gt 128mb, and a crappy crt monitor...lol. Yet it still plays ok and looks brilliant even all on low!

Can't wait to get home and play it on my GTX .
