Ford Focus: Buying Advice

Going to look at a Ford Focus tomorrow which I've left a deposit on subject to viewing @ Evan Halshaw, Harrogate

2004 54 plate Ford Focus Edge 1.6, 51k miles, FDSH, 1 owner in Machine Silver plus Climate Pack for £3994

Any advice with regard to what to look for, things to check for and such?

Not sure how you test a front heated screen/washer jets/mirrors actually work

Test all but the heated screen when you drive the thing surely?

Seems very cheap, so HPI check and look for signs of repairs.

HPI clear with certificate. Will look but that's the going rate now and it was just reduced from £4500 so seems legit and in order.
