The BEST renown gear can't be gotten from renown vendors was what I said. It was a really straightforward sentence.

We talking about level 40 here then? Thought you meant RvR in general as there's a best for each..rank/tier..whatever :D , can see why I misunderstood?


So instead of being like that, do you know the answer to the question because I can't think of where else you would get them for each tier.
 
World RVR kills for the best gear at the highest level. Looting dead players and the fat guys that live in the Keeps. it was discussed earlier in the thread.

At the keep lords for each tier, and in open RvR from player corpses in each tier. I'm not trying to be smart, thought I thought it was pretty clear :confused:
 
Tonight could either be great fun or a disaster :p

It's our guilds big raid night tonight, we did one with about 20 of us the other night... tonight we're hoping to have about 70% of the guild involved... at least. We've got over 220 members as well so it's going to be chuffing huge!

The last large raid we did lasted 14 hours.... it was so rewarding but utterly shattering at the end of it.

A nice piece of news, although at this stage its somewhat meaningless in the long run, its retention thats important. As Age of Conan found out the painful way, its a question of how many of those 750k are still there in another months time, that will be the interesting info.

However, at the moment, its looking sunny and bright which can only be a good thing for all us MMO players, the more succesful MMOs on the market, the better.
 
Well now the subscription control and management has gone live in the profile management on the website I have just created my subscription. Means I'll be playing for a few months more at least :D. Chalk that one up as an improvement over AoC ;)
 
rvr must only drop in the keeps i did 12 T2 objectives the other night and only about 3 items dropped.

I rarely see anything drop for dwarves at all. :(
 
Hit T3 a couple of days ago and well...since I refuse to do PVE the scenarios are ridiculously ****. Seems like T3 is full of retards who have no idea how to play :/ Healers go DPS, Order just do the objective and win...

Think I'll roll my 3rd alt and think about another game when my 30days are up :(
 
Folks,

As part of our ongoing effort to tweak Warhammer Online based on player play patterns, we are making some adjustments to the rate and manner of experience gain in certain parts of the game. We continually analyze the data from our in-game metrics tool and as a result, we have made some changes to WAR. These changes will ensure that you will see a noticeable improvement to the rate at which you gain experience in tiers 3 and 4.

We are currently in the planning stages for our next phase of experience enhancements, so expect more on this subject soon. In the meantime, we know these adjustments will make for an enhanced game experience in the later tiers as well as providing additional incentive for people to engage in open RvR action. Again, please keep in mind that these changes are only the first step and we have some additional changes/improvements to open RvR that we can talk about next week.

Quest Experience Rewards
• We have revised the experience awarded for completing quests in chapters 10 through 22.

New Repeatable Quests
• We have added new repeatable PvE quests to all tier 3 chapters (chapters 10 through 14).
• The new quests offered in chapters 10 and 11 may be completed twice each.
• The new quests offered in chapters 12 and 13 may be completed three times each.
• The new quests offered in chapter 14 may be completed four times each.

Skirmish RvR Experience
• The experience earned for killing an enemy player in an RvR lake will be increased by +50%.

Again, this is only the first step, there will be more next week. Also, please keep in mind that on the lower pop servers, leveling time was slower do to the less frequent popping of scenarios and open RvR. These changes will help alleviate that and make it easier on the high pop servers as well so people on those servers, enjoy the bonus!

As I've said from the beginning, we have great tools in place to measure this stuff but it does take time to go through all the data. We will not overreact as we have done in the past but nor will we wait forever before taking action. I hope the steps we've taken today and those we will continue to take over the lifetime of WAR will show our dedication to making this game a fun and enjoyable experience for everybody.

As for RVR rep you need to up it by 300% to get people out of scenarios and into the battlegrounds. :o

Depends what the quests are like and how much they are worth I guess. If they're pretty straight forward and each one gives you 30k xp, I'd be willing to run them a few times :)

+50% does seem a little low, although he does say "Again, please keep in mind that these changes are only the first step and we have some additional changes/improvements to open RvR that we can talk about next week" , so I'll wait and see what thats about before jumping to any conclusions
 
I tell you what, its a good job I've got some RL mates to play this with - random internet strangers are fugging useless.

No one either wants to do, or help with RvR zones - ever. Spammed chat, asked people I'd grouped with in PQ's...no interest in regaining RvR capture points at all. I guess the rewards aren't there in T1/2?

And PQ's - all everyone wants to do is to farm the nearest PQ to the factions camp. I really, really struggle to get groups for other PQ's, and when I do they usually suck at anything other than "Kill 10x" quests.

I guess people are just trying to power level upto the higher tiers.

Oh, and Destro suck at PvP Scenarios - on my two servers (K8P, ABP) Order win most of them...are we seeing a total reversal of the Horde dominance in WoW??
 
Well yesterday's update combined with a reinstall of my graphics drivers seems to have solved the crash to desktop issue, played for a good three hours last night without dropping.
 
FFS mages need a nerf, I keep getting owned by them, they can take half my hp off in one hit!

High damage output is all they have going for them, take that away and who would play as one?:confused:

If you go down that route, healers keep giving people health back...quick, nerf them, tanks have good armour, let's take that away too.

I think they have balanced things very, it just requires a good bit of teamwork to win.

Sounds like the mages hitting you are a few levels above you, what class are you? I play a bright mage and have no skills that can half an opponents health in one shot, I can combine a few and probably come close if the target is a couple of levels below me, if that's the case then it's to be expected.
