Blister Popping?

Poll would be nice, who hear pops their blisters, be it a burn blister, or a walking blister?

Do you pop? Yes or no?

Cut it with a pair of scissors at the top, squeezing hurts too much

Tut tut tut. You're not meant to pop them. Removes all the good stuff which repairs your skin quicker. Apparently.

You can get an infection, hence why they apply some cream if you get a bad burn blister popped at hospital.

This for me. Usually sterilize it with a lighter.

That said tho, I never ever blister. Only where I've been burned. I could walk 100 miles in someone else's shoes and not blister.

Pop it then apply concentrated tea tree oil for a few times a day and it will be fine in no time...

Just make sure you sterilise the needle and wash the area carefully afterwards. An infected blister is NOT nice and for the sake of a bit of TCP or something its easily avoided.

Same, there is a reason those things form. Skin toughens up properly if you leave them so it doesn't happen again.

thanks for the advice guys, i cut it with a bread knife

i squeezed all the juice out then applied mustard. Should be fine soon
