Out for a stag doo tonight and nobody really knows where we're going apart form the comedy club.

Where are the best places to go to have a laugh, have a dance and preferably not filled with blokes? Prefer chart music or indie/rock rather than house etc.

Edit - Wow what a shocking typo, can an admin please edit the thread title please? :)

Just head to the arcadian or brindley place and you'll have loads of choice.

Avoid broad st, its rubbish and you are fairly likely to get glassed.

Broad street looked pretty good when I walked down there. Staying that I never actually went in as id been to symphony hall to see a concert. Did notice they had a Living room bar on Broad street, which if its anything like the one in manchester its fairly exclusive.

Edit the manchester one is usually guestlist only (unless your a tarty lookig girl). Was a very srange night, abit of a role reversal as it was the guys standing around with the girls being the ones perving and making the effort to pull (obviously because they presume everyone in there is a footballer or rich). Ive found this in a lot of the guestlist only places...and I love it:o:D!

And i'll probably end up sending you an Ambulance. Sound advice ;)

I think its that one yeh, someone mentioned it was in the Arcadian anyway.

Edit - Just text my mate and he confirmed its that one. So what are the best places in the Arcadian then?

Broad street seems to be in the middle of a decline/re-vamp just now. Many places seem to have closed. There has been the odd article on regional TV of late. People interviewed say they are going to Brindley Place and the Arcadian instead.

If you find a place full of women away from blokes please let me know where it is :)

How old are you dude? (op). Snobs is ok, but it's usually full of late teens/early twenties. Lots of eye candy though :P (and a lot more indie orientated).

Custard Factory in Digbeth if you want something a little less mainstream, and just round the corner is "Air" (home of Godskitchen) but don't know what's on there tonight.

Edit: Raverbaby 11 is on tonight , probably best to give that a miss :D

Another vote for the custard factory, but it could well be a D+B/HipHop night, all be it a slightly higher class of clientèle.
