, would make a fun road bike also and prolly abit of a wheely monster (my old 01 R1 was and thats same year)

I wonder if the owner will go for some sort of off road speed record... Tho I imagine 160+mph off road would be somewhat hairy! :eek:

Something similar was done many many moons ago for the Paris-Dakar.
They took the engine out of an FZ750 and stuck it in a Super Tennere chassis.
Cant remember if it finished or not, but it seemed to do ok.

You'd get thrown off rather quickly doing 160mph offroad

Looks mint though.. I've always wondered how a roadbike would like once turned into an offroad monster

I always wondered why they never really did 1000cc off road bikes but to be honest your asking to die from a wheelspin'd death in 3rd at 100+mph into a ditch

Looks like it may have a larger rear sprocket then the stock one in the second picture..
