Asus have announced the EAH4870 Dark Knight TOP graphics card...

Extreme Cooling with Dark Knight Fansink
The ASUS designed EAH4870 DK and EN9800GTX+ DK Series come equipped with the specially designed Dark Knight Fansink. This innovative fansink is equipped with 4 heatpipes and a large heatsink surface area; and is made of aluminum alloy to deliver extreme cooling while retaining operating levels at only 32dB—almost imperceptible in a quiet room—catering to users who require maximum cooling without excessive fan rotation noise

There is an overclocked 512MB model and a standard clocked 1GB model. There is also an Nvidia 9800+ model using the same heatsink.

Looks nice, especially in the absence of any other 1GB 4870 cards with non-reference coolers.

Is there much of a difference with the 1gig

On higher resolutions yes, not to mention it's a more futureproof, with games like Mirror's Edge coming out soon the 1gb of memory could mean the difference between a playable or choppy framerate.

1680x1050 the minimum resolution in which it would make much of a difference in my opinion. In Devil May Cry 4 with all the highest settings enabled, AA included, there was almost a 10fps increase over the 512mb version @ 1680x1050 resolution. Which considering the really cheap is a bargain worth going for.

Of course it won't make much of a difference, if any at all, in some games but games like DMC4 that take advantage of more memory you will see some fps increase. I also read that 1gb on the cards increases smoothness in gameplay.
