This is mine. Brute of a thing. I thought I'd ordered a 1400 when I'd ordered a 1600. It only JUST fits in my room with a double bed. It's a Trexus Classic.

And I know my skirting board looks awful. I'm just not a fan of DIY, or painting and never mask up. I just paint.

I've got a godawful corner deak from Ikea, I hate it but it was the only one I could find at the time that would go where I wanted it (into an 80mm recess) There are some I could get that would fit into said recess, but they're not good quality & have the styling of a gargoyle

I'm giving some thought about buying a bit of kitchen worktop or a thick bit of pineboard & using the legs off the old table & making my own table.

Nice, source?

Sorry for delay, was walking the mutt. Trexus own website. I ordered mine off a website called office-furnitures (don't want to link it incase I'm breaking some competitor rule). I'm impressed with it. Sturdy as hell, although the worktop has already got a couple of scrapes were I've dropped tools on it. All in all, can't grumble. And the other pieces in the range look nice as well. Good for a home office or something.

Could you point me in the direction of it as i can't seem to find it on the website :o
That's because it has been discontinued for health and safety reasons. Too many fat nerds standing on their desks to prove how sturdy they are.*

*possibly a lie.

It has been discontinued though.

I think I have that desk. Is it supposed to have doors on too?

It's a piece of crap. I nearly broke it putting it together because it's built in a really retarded way and it's made of chipboard.

Doors? No, its meant to have a slidy keyboard tray which I took off, and a monitor surround bit.

MInes pretty damn solid

I have an Ikea Jonas desk and it's pretty sturdy. It's probably a bit big if you're looking at the Mikaels, as mine fits two 19" monitors with nothing above the drawer.

I've just purchased one of these from Focus.

Pretty solid bit of kit and pretty useful having the full upper shelf.

The top half is restrictive though for dual monitor setups but you could just leave it off whilst building without having any effect on the overall stability.
