Im planning my system, and I really wanna build it in the CM 840.

The release date from what I have read on the internet (its got to be right, cus it on the internet) is October 25.

Could the powers that be let me know it OCUK will have it on that date please?

I have and it got a standard "we dont stock it" reply, even though I told them I wanted their ETA for it.

I was hoping I could get a more informed response from one of their more enthusiastic staff on here.

Thats because they do not have it listed on the forum, you should post in the product suggestion forum with it however i bet there are multiple threads in there suggesting them.

Coolermaster have now confirmed that the release date for this case is 25/11/2008 and the MRRP is $279.99 (about £172.. not including any VAT).

So we are looking at the £200 mark basically. That's far too much. Sub £150 and this would be awesome. I know when I was looking at top end cases that as soon as you go over that £150 case budget you start questioning what the hell you're doing :D

Yup, thats how i feel. Its the line between "payin for what you get" and feeling shafted.

Its a good case with good features, but how often do *most* people make use of a removable motherboard tray, or use the hole in the mobo tray to swap out a heatsink.

I had a secondhand ACTS 201 a few years ago and it was a quality case, and I expect this to be the same...but at £200???

I think Im already talking myself outta this...gonna read some reviews of the antec 900.

Get the HAF 932, trust me, great case.

although i'd like this to be £150, it's more likely to be £180-240

the CM110 cost me about £245 ish, still going strong :)

^^ see :)

will still fly out though, i really hope CM continue to make great cases like this, i wouldn't use most of the cases they've made in the last 5 years as door stops, like the stacker, wtf

Yay! Although I didn't expect it to be so expensive. I heard a CM rep quote £180 on a video review because they felt a reduction in price would be good during the current economic situation. One can hope. It is xmas soon ;)
