Peter Kay's Britain's Got the Pop Factor

I can’t believe how bad this show is I’ve turned it off to be honest I was looking forward to watching it. I’m shocked to see so many people saying how good they thought it was I haven’t laughed out loud once while watching it.

It's because you're boring.

Peter Kay comedy isn't all about obvious jokes. Do any of these people who don't like it appreciate Phoenix Nights, or are they just fans of his stand up?

It's just little things like the song choices for the medleys, midgets and ebony and ivory act.

...and Rick Astley.

I don't watch these type of shows unless I'm waiting for something else to start, so I imagine most all lost on me.

For some reason I thought it would be a satire, but it is, as pointed out, a "serious" parody.

I laughed at the bit early on when pete waterman goes to Our Waynes nans funeral, and says "its what your nan woulda wanted" while he taps on her coffin.

...............And the other people posting the same as me?

I like Max and Paddy, Phoenix Nights and his stand up but I've been left completely disappointed by his latest effort.

I'm not a fan of any of that, but this has gotten a good few chuckles from me.

Looked forwards to seeing this tonight yet was left totally disappointed, turned over to some wildlife dude on five after about 25mins.

Did not get anything really, other what a school play could come up with I didnt get the jokes. I loved Phoenix nights aswell.

I think in general Peter Kay appeals most to people from the north. And also people from more working class backgrounds. I think some people with more posh families dont enjoy his jokes like us common northerners :)
