Laptop charge voltage

Ive had a laptop with a dead battery that ive been running off the mains for along time now. I recentally bought a new battery for the laptop.

The charger ive been using is not the original that came with the laptop.
Laptop spec charger : 16v 2.5A
Charger im using : 15.6V 3.85A

Will this difference in amps or volts ruin my new battery, and should i go by the correct spec charger?

I'd recommend getting the correct spec charger, just to be safe

dont bother stick with your current adapter the 0.4volts difference does not matter and the one you got has more current reserves in it.
