Not a bad idea! I'l work out a good way attaching the shock cord to the hard drive, and I'll give it a go.Could you just bungee it behind the rad fans?

I'm gonna squeeze a my Sammy F1 in there somewhere... I normally suspend hard drives in elastic so I should be able to manage it. My DVD-RW is external.
Nothing special, just a Laing pump and Fuzion cpu cooler in the loop also, but I have a 160.1 rad which I'm tempted to place on top of the 200mm fan also!
I'm building this PC for quietness as I'll be using it for music production... Hopefully it should be done by the weekend.
yeah - sending it via DHL so should be ok
External.what about optical drives lol

What's that heatsink below the gfx card? Looks like some sort of rad/res

Yep - I was gonna watercool my 8800gt but the Accelero is such a great cooler I'm gonna stick with air for that.looks like a Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev. 2 VGA Cooler
For what it's worth, a 22ohm resistor tamed the 200mm fan a little, it's slightly less clicky now.

Cheers, I'd probably be able to make it a little neater is there was more room in the case, but it's really crammed in there! I'm glad I managed to route the 24 power cable behind the motherboard tray... I don't want to fiddle with it too much more now as it's all working fine (touch wood!)i had the same but decide since i was watercooling i might as well go the full hog.
Nice work Mike but a little messy for my liking!!!!![]()
Nice, your setup is definately a lot cleaner!Good idea putting the res on the top. I wish I installed a res now as it's a PITA getting bubbles out using a t-piece and fillport... Nice choice of motherboard also (gigabyte 4tw).
What res is that and does it clip on to the 200mm fan grill?
