Hi, I purchased 5 formal slim fit shirts from Next. TM Lewin is too expensive and Primark lacks quality.

Now, instead of paying for the dry cleaning bill everytime I need my shirt washed, what's the best way to wash my shirts yet keeping them preserved and keeping the quality?
Is it just a matter of sticking it in the washing machine everytime it needs washing and hope they last long?

Thanks

You don't dry clean cotton shirts, just wash and iron. (dry cleaners offer shirt services, but guess what they do to them.........)

Ok then. Give them to your mum it's her job ;)

I'd rather give them to yours when I see her next ;)

Jokes aside I just had a looong look at my washing machine and it's features. Suffice to say, the dry cleaning feature will come in handy for the purposes of this thread :o

Edit: It turns out it's actually the dryer feature :o :o

OCUK strikes again. :D

I wash all my shirts myself, Iron myself, buy them from Next, and other few places.

Can't really see 'Quality loss', I tend to just buy new shirts every few months any way, to have different colours etc. :D

Shirts are made from cotton, like majority of peoples T-shirts, providing you use decent washing tablets etc then you wont have a problem with colour loss or quality.
