Recently installed this new card to replace my Sapphire ATI X800XL.

Installed it with no problems and used the ATI Uninstall App to get rid of all the old drivers before downloading and installing the latest Catalyst drivers (8.9). All was well until this appeared on my screen only when I play games and watch online vids through a web browser.

Is there anyway I can find out what's causing it to crash?

Abit AN8 nForce4 Ultra | AMD Athlon 3700+ | ATI 3870
Corsair 2GB PC3200 | Maxtor 250GB | Win XP SP3 | LGL1980Q

Power supply is an unbranded 550W PSU.

I've also recently overclocked my CPU. Do these figures sound about right or is there anything that stands out which could be the cause of the problem.

The core peaks at 53C at full load.

Thanks!

Try looking in the System event log...but I doubt You will see anything
It's generally some sort of resource sharing problem !

I have had this a couple of times just after installing or playing with ATI 8.9 and newer drivers just on the first reboot/standby

Safe Mode remove all ATI drivers, Drive cleaner, registry clean and instal 8.8's should sort You out
