Recommendations for a FREE web hosting service

not free but qiq have an offern on doing their £20 a year package for £1 does both php and sql as far as i know

I think it may have expired by now, the code is BDAY10
It's not as fast as TSOhost, and not really as good, but you get oodles of bandwidth and disk space.
Oh and atm their mail server is blacklisted against hotmail/windows live mail, so you can't send emails to any @hotmail addresses.

code is valid till the 29 oct as far as im aware i signed up purely as it was only a quid and more disk space and bandwith than il ever use as i only really host pics to show on the forum etc.

cant verify the mail server being blocked as my isp block all port 25 traffic unless it goes through their email server, any info on why it was blocked / if it still is? possible it miught just be an over kill spam filter?
 
It just happens from time to time if someone on that server has been sending spam. Hotmail and Yahoo can be overzealous with regards to IP blocks, which tend to be a lot more discriminate than smarter content filters.
