TNA Wrestling (Spoiler FREE)

I think TNA deserves its own thread, so here it is.

Anyway, I just noticed this on TNAwrestling.com

Statement from Mick

As of today, I am a free agent in the world of professional wrestling. I will always begrateful to WWE for affording me so many incredible opportunities over the pastthirteen years, but feel the time is right to pursue other endeavors.

This move frees me up to participate in more film, television and voice roles, autograph sessions, speaking engagements, volunteer work, and will allow me thetime to start work on a third novel, a fourth wrestling memoir and a new children’s story.

Over the next few weeks I will be working with my management team at Braverman/Bloom Co., Inc. in pursuing a couple of unique investment opportunities.

I can confirm I have had discussions with TNA Wrestling and have come to ashort-term agreement. I am very excited about the specifics of this agreement andthe potential it holds.

Its a shame that the TNA game they are about to release will be nothing compared to the SvR games that are out in the market in the moment. They are leaving all of the stuff that would make it a great wrestling game "till the future".

Usually TNA is pretty good but i stopped watching it a few months back, i just watch Raw and Smackdown now; don't bother with ECW :p

The TNA game is being slated as the next "No Mercy" video game in wrestling terms, or at least a stepping stone to creating the next "No Mercy".

So I wouldn't write it off just yet.

They've gone for gameplay over features by the looks of things.

1st game looks to be quite cut back, smallish roster, minimal game modes, hopefully it does well enough that there will be a sequel, cos if not, they just wont bother and the next "no mercy" wont ever happen...unless its enough to make wwe sweat and license a 1/2 decent game to be made

Great, another wrestling memoirs novel from mick...

He really is milking that for all its worth, there surely can't be much more for him to write about.

Angelina for me, but wouldn't say no :D was easily one of their best PPVs. Jarrett vs Angle was match of the night, with Monster's Ball a close second :)

i just posted in the wwe thread about this, watched a special event last nite(i think), the first match, a get out of the top of the cage match(thing) was more entertaining than a whole wwe ppv, but i thought some of the stupid carachters spoiled it a bit, curry man/boy and shark boy from that first match( i mean curry man, w t f).

also noticed over half the matches were made of ex wwe stars
