Depends on the beer surely. A proper ale is usually best in a glass but some lagers don't suit drinking from a glass. Cans are very much bottom of the pile though, apart from in the case of Miller which actually has a taste when it comes from a can - still once I've got to the stage of drinking Miller it usually isn't through choice.

Decent ale, glass also.

And if I have bottled beer I'll usually tend to drink it from the bottle rather than pouring into a glass as the drink stays more carbonated that way and I like my bubbles.

That's about right. I don't bother pouring cheap and cheerful beer into a glass. Beer from bottles/glass tastes much nicer though.
