Nicest coffee available from supermarkets?

Hey people, I used to love tea but i don't drink it anymore because of the mild association with spots

paranoid? meh. Therefore, I'm looking for a suggestion on a nice coffee grain from say tesco or so to replace tea, no budget :cool:

Because I'm sooo sophisticated, I can recommend Douwe Egberts, and also Kenco Rich Roast (blue label) as damn good instants.

Kenco Coffee is pretty good.

At the minute I'm on Illy Dark Roast ground stuff from Tesco but you'll need a coffee maker of a form on top of that.

Ideally I'd prefer to go with Bei & Naninni Cap Colombo but my local supplier went under a while back and I've yet to find an alternative. If anyone knows of one in the West of Scotland please shout!

naa milk isn't good for skin, I've done a lot of research and tried cutting down myself with success

Cos it isn't a patch on proper coffee, even when compared to bog standard supermarket ground stuff.

Impossible to say without sounding like a coffee snob, instant is like orange squash if real coffee is freshly squeezed orange juice.

It may taste like coffee, but its not nice nor real coffee.

Don't forget, don't pour boiling water directly onto instant coffee. It gives you IBS. Let it come just off the boil.

May taste like coffee, but its not nice nor real coffee.

a friend of mine makes posh coffees but I can't say I have noticed that much of a difference really

then again I don't drink it a lot anyways and when I do its always decaf nowadays

Because my boss would kick my arse if I ponced around making proper coffee 5 times a day! I prefer the 'real' stuff, but I don't get to drink it often.

I try not to drink caffeine at all, I don't drink coffee to perk me up
