Nicest coffee available from supermarkets?

Because I'm sooo sophisticated, I can recommend Douwe Egberts, and also Kenco Rich Roast (blue label) as damn good instants.

At the minute I'm on Illy Dark Roast ground stuff from Tesco but you'll need a coffee maker of a form on top of that.

Ideally I'd prefer to go with Bei & Naninni Cap Colombo but my local supplier went under a while back and I've yet to find an alternative. If anyone knows of one in the West of Scotland please shout!

Impossible to say without sounding like a coffee snob, instant is like orange squash if real coffee is freshly squeezed orange juice.

May taste like coffee, but its not nice nor real coffee.

a friend of mine makes posh coffees but I can't say I have noticed that much of a difference really

then again I don't drink it a lot anyways and when I do its always decaf nowadays

de-caf? Ban, tbh.

OP, buy anything you like but please not de-caf (unless you have a condition) and never instant (unless you have no taste or self-esteem).

I try not to drink caffeine at all, I don't drink coffee to perk me up

Get yourself a cafetière and some ground coffee and you'll never look back, at siliconslave's how to make an espresso thread, yes, but never back.
