I've seen one like that and I've heard They have a good reputation and apparently a friend of a friend played one once and he liked it but I like to hear these things first hand.

So, anyone at all?

I've played an (older) jackson charvel but I didn't really like the neck on it, personal preference I guess.

I had a go on an older older Charvel Charvel and it was exceptional. One of my friends owned one and it was awesome, until it got stolen whilst he was on tour. :( I've had a go on a few and the newer ones don't really do a lot for me, nothing compared to a Strat. :p

The Charvel my ex duo partner is playing on here is one of the best guitars I've ever played.
He's got loads of quality guitars but he always goes back to that one.

The guys bringing it around today so I'll see what this one is like, my collection that I've had has been dominated by BC Rich and a Dean though so if it has a warm soft tone I'll have to get used to it. I@m trying to get out of the metal music, I've been trying to figure out why I lost effort in learning to play and I realised I just got sick of playing metal. I want to get into some 1960's rock and roll and some slide. I don't know if they get hard but damn do they sound good!!!

I love the broomstick bass! My mate had the electric version and it was so light, I knew it would be as there's nothing to it but it still surprised me. I suppose that's what I get for having BC Richs though. The headstocks are heavy as hell, everyone I had was neck heavy.

I've just bought a Fender to replace it because the neck is too long.
If I'm singing and playing bass at the same time on stage I don't want something I've got to fight.

Precision or Jazz?

Need to replace my Johnson bass, it's so heavy it's ridiculous. I knew I should have insisted on playing rhythm guitar in my band, my back's in half.

I got the Charvel and it isn't brilliant. I know the necks are a love or hate thing but I can't get over how smooth it is. The razorback had a painted varnished sort of smoothness which was very good, but this soft wood feel is amazing. I'll post some pictures when I get some batteries for the camera.
