Do you think you have someone elses dream job?

My idea of hell :) Glad you like it tho.

Yeah theres 3 billable hours going missing there by my reckoning!

I work for a prestige automotive OEM, well my client is.

I think for school leavers, designing/engineering cars and using colourful CAD, 3D CAVE suits and driving competitor cars on test tracks probably isn't too far off what could be a dream job. To be quite honest I dont think its that far off either, just not enough totty around :p

I'll NEVER reach my dream job as im stuck in a rut at Sainsbury's and i wouldnt wish anyone to work at a supermarket :E

Dream Job: IT Field Technician
Been there, its not ideal fella. You would be better having a job that involves the odd call out but more office based, that way you can get out to shower your head and get a bit of fresh air when YOU want.
I do that now! :D

That's my point?

Ah sarcasm isn't passed on well on a forum :) needs more rolleyes.

Like this one.

his point is that no-one would be jealous, so hes wondering if infact anyone is jealous by freak chance?

Im jealous, only because you're bringin in more money than me currently :)

I will hopefully when i graduate, although i do it now during the summer. I'm an archaeologist. Whenever i say that someone always says "oh i wish i could have done something like that". I also work for Boots as a customer ambassador, but i would doubt that is a dream job.

What are the job prospects with a degree like this?

I'm soon to finish a degree in Forensics, and I'd have presumed that Archaeology is in the same sort of situation - where there are more graduates than job vacancies in this sort of field.

You'd think but basically i'm a customer service monkey. I help customers find products, give information about offers and events in store and if i can give advice on products.

mp3kla, there are actually a lot of jobs. Well there were until the crash and reduction in building, most archaeology jobs are commercial interlinked with the building trade. Other than that there is museum work, preservation of monuments, research and if you get really lucky academia. Or you can just use it as 'a degree'.

I'm pretty happy doing it if that counts?

I don't really think there is any such thing as a 'dream job'; if it's work then you shouldn't be dreaming about it.

Im very happy doing it... hardly a dream job though :D
