One of my exs had hers done, and ice cream helped for the pain and it was an excuse for her to eat ice cream :p, but to be honest your saliva is an a good antiseptic, but also some anticeptic mouthwash is just as good. You just have to let the swelling calm down, that will take a while. The results for me when she had hers healed were awesome ;) I'd never have considered a bloke doing it though :/

But hey it's your choice ultimately hope you like it and enjoy it :)
 
I'd definitely recommend a plastic ball. It will save your teeth and the roof of your mouth.

Nothing wrong with a guy having a tongue ring. I've had one for almost 8 years now and my wife certainly appreciates it.

Cool Mint Listerine is also good while it's healing.

Im shocked that some of you have PAs, I cant imagine it, painful!! Never really got how the piercings could improve pleasure either, not my cup of tea as far as I know, you lot have balls.

Not really painful tbh...Not any more than someone nipping your arm certainly.

Even if you're a pussy with a low pain threshold...So what if it hurts? Its over in a fraction of a second!

Now what really smarts is beading...Despite the whole trusting someone with your penis and a scalpel thing, its a trauma-heavy procedure - your wang will look like a cobbler's thumb for a fortnight.

I am not against piercings you moron. I just think a male tongue piercing is homosexual - I am not the only one to have said this. Now get back to your closet.
