McCanns going too far?

Come on guys! Whether you like or dislike the parents, the fact remains that a small child went missing. Irrespective of whether we like or dislike the parents doesn't mean we don't all want the same outcome? Don't we all want Maddy to be found safe and well?
Any parent will be able to understand the anguish and torment her parent must be suffering.
I don't, and never did, agree with those children being left on their own but that doesn't alter what I hope will be the eventual outcome.

Do you honestly think that's going to happen? Sorry to be blunt, but that little girl is dead.

Prevention is always better than hoping for a cure.

Are they still living in that rather large house with the double garage for their two cars or have they downsized in order to fund the "search" for their dead Daughter?

How can you be so sure? For all you, or I, or anyone else for that matter knows, that child could be alive and well. Until her parents know EXACTLY what has happened they will be tormented.
It's in the back of all our minds that she may well be dead, but until she is found no one will ever know.
If you know for sure that she is dead, as you state, you should give information to the police!

Honestly i'd rather she were dead than think about the possibility of her being held in captivity by a mentalist for several years, the psychological damage done by that would be utterly irreparable and probably worse than death.

Because in the vast majority of cases abducted kids are raped and then killed. That's assuming she was abducted - statistically speaking, being killed by the family would be more likely I'd imagine. I suppose if an Austrian took her then Azagoth could be right.
