Sure it is. I grew up in the Republic, lived in France for a couple of years, travelled around Eastern Europe a couple of years ago and I'd say I'm qualified enough to make an opinion on it.

Depends entirely on where you live within the countries though, England is lovely, so long as you don't live/go into chavvy areas, same as any other country.

Yes and its only an opinion, have a look at the hard facts and you will see it’s not always greener on the other side, England is far better off than most European countries.

Every country has it's problems, I lived in Germany for 5 years and there are similar problems there, you just don't hear about them over here.
