Not being able to face people because you think your ugly

Hello,

I remember seeing a video and reading some things on the internet about people who could not face the public or their own family because they felt so ugly. Im trying to digg up this information again and maybe the medical name for it but im not having any luck with google!

I remember one video on youtube where a guy spoke about how he wouldnt let people take photos of him for years, now hes able to put a video of himself on youtube.

If any one has any links or idea's or medical names it would be greatly apreciated!
