It seems to me 22" monitors have the least problems and best specs.

I'm selling my 2408WFP, can anyone recommend a decent LCD 22-24? Please :)
Or should I just wait until a decent 24inch is made?

I'm thinking the samsung 245B or the Hazro HZ24Wi

I've got the samsung 245B, got very good colours, low log and doesn't suffer from ghosting problems. But then again the i've heard good things about the Hazro. Depends on your budget tbh.

Most 22" monitors are TN, these tend to have less problems if you accept their technological shortcomings. 24" non-tn monitors tend to be more pricey and hence people who buy them far more picky.

Eizo S2231W and Lenovo L220x are only decent quality 22" monitors and all 22" monitors, except L220x, have (especially vertically) small 1680x1050 resolution.
While those with limited space might like L220x's 1920x1200 resolution in 22" size I find 25.5" (actual size of 26" monitors) LG W2600HP really nice.

The Eizo S2231W looks alright to me, the LG is just too big for me as I don't keep on the edge of new gfx cards. I'm really thinking about buying the 245b

Samsung 245B (like all 24"s) has same 1920x1200 resolution as LG.
Most monitors have quite good internal scaling but graphic cards can easily scale smaller resolution image of game to full size.

And what's the use?
TN is big no for image editing...

Also after S-PVA you might not like top being darker when looked from center:

End of this page actually has excellent examples about colour shift caused by TN's vertical "viewing" angle:

(after S-PVA Lenovo and current IPS-paneled LG that colour shift of purple looks absolutely surreal in laptop's TN screen when I checked)

Perfect for gaming too ?

It's targetted more at the gaming/media world than most Eizos and as such is rather good for gaming. I'm not really sure what quantifies being "perfect for gaming" though.
