5 dvds or compressed video is the only way its going to appear
not to mention totally reprogramming the game as it was designed from the ground up to run only on the ps3
also is there really that big a market for msg4 on the xbox, lets face it most people who followed the series would probally have a ps3

the ps3 has only had a few decent exclusives, where as the xbox has probally had 5 times as many it should have been dancing on the ps3 grave, but it not and that has to be worrying for microsoft as there are going to be a number of big title ps3 exclusives in the next year

Chill dude. The only reason I think your feeling this way is because you are not happy with your investment and feel like you made the wrong choice and overspent. But if this is not true, then why let what I or others say bother you? If the console makes you happy then thats what matters at the end of the day. Plus if you are making good use of the BR player on it then you made the right choice anyways ;)
 
I think the reason he is behaving that way is because he is having to defend his investment against you for no fair reason. He chose to buy a PS3 and from what i know of .one. he likes it very much, leave him to it, none of us care whether you think it's a bad investment or not, we don't. If someone were asking you for buying advice then feel free to make your feelings known, but at present all you are doing is attempting to undermine a choice people have already made which is incredibly rude.

Apologies if I came of rude, that certainly was not my intention. I just wanted to explain to the guy the reason people are being the way they are.

He does not need to defend anything! I never said he made a bad investment decision. Perhaps maybe others have. If he is making good use of the BR player then I actually think its a good investment actually.

As for what your saying, now look at who is the one being rude. I really was not talking to you was I? What makes you think I care, that you may care for what I am saying? You obviously do at some level to have taken the time to post a message to me. We are all free to speak out minds, not everyone has to care for what we say. My post was directed to him, not you.

You may think you don't care for what I am saying, if that truely is the case then don't post. Either way I don't care.

This designed from the ground up to only run on PS3 is nonsense, it will work on Xbox360. It's just Sony marketing spiel.

Also, previous MGS games bar MGS3 have appeared on Xbox, so it wouldn't be that surprising.

I would doubt MS thought they'd kill PS3 off, I know no one I know did. But you mention those 3 exclusives, though the one in the middle doesn't really matter because no one knows what it is, you missed Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 also, and I doubt GT5 will be out next year.

You never mentioned the exclusives Xbox360 is dropping, not just next year, but over the next couple of weeks.

Some fairly strong defence and stupid reasoning round these here parts. It may come to 360 it may not. Its down to Konami, money and whether its worth dumbing the game down so it can fit on 15 DVDs.
 
If 360 owners wanted to play MGS4 so badly, they would've bought a PS3 for it by now. I don't even think this has anything to do with MGS4 to be honest, if MGS4 was to go on 360 then 360 owners would do nothing but brag about and try and make PS3 owners feel bad.

The hilarious thing in this thread is all the people who only have a 360 saying "well if it comes to 360 I won't have to buy a PS3, hahahahaha". Surely the hahahaha is on them if they were gonna spend over 250 quid to play 1 game. And like you say, how badly do they want to play if they haven't already? It's just an arguement made to knock other people's purchases imo (which A LOT of the threads are thinly veiled attempts at these days).

I am sure in the last 2 years we have seen this thread a a few times, same comments (Usually by same people!):

1) 12 x DVD *haha*
2) lower res textures *haha*
3) PS3 don't sell so they have to release on 360 *haha*
4) Can't be done on 360 (like anyone here has developed 360 games and knows) *haha*
5) Can be done easily on 360 (see above) *haha*
6) You fell for the Sony hype machine *haha*
7) How dare you say this game can't be made on my precious 360 *haha*

Just full of 360 and ps3 fanboys tbh, trying to **** on each other's parades.
