My new toy

I'm very in the middle on this. Seems decent enough for £1100, am guessing those wheels are worth a fair bit?

As for lieing about anything else, there isn't really much to lie about. The condition speaks for itself, and I've seen the history and reciepts with my own eyes ;)

It's not a big bumper model - they have been retro fitted. :)


It's not the nicest looking thing out there, but it will do. Have a think about sticking an ABF in it. :)
 
For £1100, if it's as clean as you say then that's a good price. Mk2's can vary so much, I've seen mint 1984 cars with no rot and supposedly tidy '90 models with rotten floorpans.

Personally I'd swop the tailgate and bumper for std 90 spec ones. If the smoothing's been done properly you should make money out of swopping the parts.

Love the Turbo's, only change them for a set of Azev A's or some deep dish RS's
 
Kate's 8v K-Jet does 33-35mpg with a combination of spirited B road and town driving.

No idea what it would do on a long run, around 40 I'd imagine.

Sold my sexy 74' Audi yesterday, and the new owenr will be doing something very special with her and get her looking better than new.

Can't help but love the VAG scene.

EDIT: WHAT you're getting rid for the skyline....... Noes, downgrade :p
 
Not 100% on the smoothed tailgate but apart from that, I love it. Front end looks excellent and I really like the wheels.

I like everything bar the headlights but then again, this is exactly my kinda era car. I grew up with these, 205 GTIs and R5 GTTs etc so I've got a soft spot for them

Looks spot on except the rear tailgate, just doesnt look right like that!

Should sort you out some cash, just dont go spending money on it and breaking it :D
 
I don't like it, the arse looks awful. But, the world would be a boring place if we all liked the same things.

By the way, you speak of modifications and engine swaps. Didn't you sell the Skyline to scrape some money together? Why bother selling the Skyline (which looked pretty cool) if you're going to throw money into this car which is almost as old as me?
