So i was intent on buying a 9800GT as i've always gone Geforce route but now i know the 4850 is a better card, however, i haven't a clue what to go for, for the record, i was ready to buy the Gainward 9800GT Golden sample (1024mhz GDDR3) for £99.99 +vat.

So, for around that price, give or take maybe a tenner, which 4850 should i go for?

Thanks

i was looking at the Asus one too, would there be much difference in the 512mb version and the 1024mb version of the 4850?

Been sizing up a new monitor (20", also at 1650x1050) & I'm wondering if it might also be time to up my gfx card to cope with it. I currently have an ATi 1950X 512MB with a 17" monitor at 1280x1024. If I do end up buying the 20" widescreen should I also go for a better gfx card? I was also thinking about the 4850 as it looks to be about the best bang for buck card around at the moment.
