Energy prices.

Where do they get these retards who are the typical struggling family due to raising fuel bills.

Family 1) Nice house, two kids. Struggle to pay £400 Gas/Elec bill ......yet used the dishwasher twice a day.

Family 2) Whining mum who complains about her sons usage on electrical goods. Has a American Style fridge freezer 50" TV, surround sound & PC on screensaver unused in the corner as well as 30" TV's in sons bedroom with Xbox and the like, and to top it all as she is using an electric can opener while being interviewed.

I am not condoning having nice things, but I cannot really understand the above.

Man we live in a society of dumb wits.

Have yet to watch it, but yeah, so many people take nice fancy things for granted and think they deserve to have them when they cannot afford them really.

The irony would be if the film crew was powering their lights from the house they would be pulling at least 3KW the whole time whilst filming... :D

They'd probably have a generator if they need to use any lamps above 4Kw tho....

I saw the lap dancing one. Some moron complaining that a naked woman was gyrating her body over him, in a bloody strip club! Claiming that locals are moaning because they don't know what goes on behind "the closed doors of strip clubs", maybe that's because they're behind closed doors you sensationalist Muppet!

I must admit that I haven't seen this one, but it sounds like the ususal "We can't afford blah blah blah", whilst downing another pint in the pub, smoking a fag and using their mobile phones.

I'm not saying that people shouldn't have these things, but if you have to make economies, then you do without.

LOL

I still have all my electrics on, I just dont use lights or radiators....I just wear more clothes and put more blankets on the bed....my choice...:D

Night vision goggles, and lotion, ;)

nah... the tv(and/or)monitor and a 7watt CFL energy saver table lamp give plenty of light in the lliving room at night.

I prfere "mood" lighting at night anyway, nothing worse than a glaring 100watter in your face.

A story in the Daily Mirror today about the credit crunch, some woman moaning about losing her house and splitting up with her boyfriend, she is 24 has 3 yes 3 children, had a mortgage of £170k then spent £10k on a car and flooring for the house then remortgage for £19k to console debts.

And she has the cheek to say how companies can treat her children like that and take there house away, how have we become so dependent on debt it couple of decades.

You should see one of these then, 18,000Watts, and if you are stood in front of it you get a burnt leg! The bulb is over a foot long...

I like the fact they have a sign on the side saying "not for home use" despite it weighing over 50Kg and being the size of a washing machine... As if they expect someone to have one in their front room or something :D
