Hi Guys,

This might be a preference thing more than anything, but I'm looking at getting a new gaming mouse. At the moment I have the logitech mx518, I was thinking about getting the razer diamondback or copperhead.

Can anyone recommend which is best, or even if there are newer/better ones out there?

Thanks

ive had a 518 since ive been playing cs 1.6, which is 4-5 years now. i love it that much, that i even bought a new one when i gave my bro the old one :)

Get one that's comfortable for your style.

Have a look on the Razer website, there's a guide somewhere to which shapes and types of mice are suitable for different styles and methods of holding the mouse. I found it quite insightful, and helpful.

I was originally planning to buy a Lachesis to replace my trusty 518, but after reading up about it I decided to get a Deathadder instead as I think it would be more suitable for my needs. :) Arrives today hopefully. :D

Microsoft Sidewinder. Solid, dependable, high-precision - only thing possibly lacking is extra buttons. It "only" has two extras.

Given the shape you have got used to in the 518, why not get a G5 second revison? Same shape, but with a laser reader and weights. As well as being a good deal more sturdy than the 518.
All of my friends have one of these after trying several mice.
