hey guys,

Did my first wedding in 3 years the other day, good to get back into and looking forward to doing a few more!

Here's just one that ive had a chance to edit so far, i quite liked the feel of it! If it hadnt been for the smile i think it could almost look like the groom hadnt turned up, but i think the hint of the smile gives away that all is well

I know the composition isnt the best, the floor is distracting etc etc, but it's one of those images i just "liked"

I really like the shot, don't find the composition distracting at all, I think if anything it almost sets the scene and contributes to the overall feel of the shot.

Just out of interest - what sort of post processing have you done?

very very little really, just a selective gaussian blur on the BG and a tad of contrast, i did most of the shot beforehand

There is a 580EXmk2 shooting into an umbrella to the left of the scene as we look at it, which is what creates the lighting we see here

designed to try and look like sunlight through a window?

that's what spoils it for me, it just makes it look weird. Also not a massive fan of the jaunty angle, it just doesn't work for me.

I'm no expert but i think this ^^ works.
