Where are people pre-ordering this from? I was under the impression it didn't get shipped until Friday so I put off ordering and going into town on Friday to pickup a copy! :(

I just grabbed a copy from ****** I am busy on Friday anyway so even if I dont get it until Saturday its no big deal for me.

Wasn't going to get this, but just read the PC Gamer review and loved the sound of it. So ordered it and a shiny new GTX260 to run it :)
 
Ok, I have played it for a little while but didn't want to really get into it because I have to go work soon but from what I can tell this game seems like a lot of fun!

The graphics are great I think and my mediocre machine can run it at 1280x1024 with everything on Very high, with HDR and bloom enabled but with no AA and I get about 40fps. I'm not a graphics whore like a lot of people on here so I'd imagine that a lot of people might be disappointed in them.

My rig is a C2D 2.4GHz, 2GB RAM and an 8800 GTS 320.

Here are some screens with the above settings apart from that I turned on AAx4 to take them. I don't really have enough time to look around for more picturesque scenes atm

Really looking forward to getting back from work and really giving this a go! :)
 
Yeah, I got a pretty mediocre rig, I can run it with all settings at 1280x1024 on Very High (just one setting under the max, Ultra High) with AA disabled and getting 30-40FPS which is pretty damn good imo, especially with my graphics card only having 256MB memory.
 
mint, can i ask how much you lot payed for this, i have to wait till friday to pick up a copy as i don't get payed till then, i don't want to go into town on friday and pick it up for like £25 and find out you lot payed £20 :P £5 saved for burger king

The GFX are nothing like Crysis :P but that kills my PC as long as i can play this game on High on my 4850 and the story makes up for the Graphics :) happy days

Good to hear Hunders! I have the same system as you, just with 4Gb of ram. Looks really good in those shots. Should be getting mine today.

Are you hinting that mine might be a pirate copy? Because I assure you it isn't, in fact I have never pirated a game.
